Helinet Aviation Adds Robert E. Weiner to Advisory Board

Los Angeles (November 2, 2018) – Helinet Aviation Services, a diversified flight services company, announced today the appointment of Robert E. Weiner to its board of advisors.

Mr. Weiner is currently the Vice President of Development at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles., California’s highest rated academic pediatric medical center, ranked number six in the nation. Before joining CHLA, he served in executive roles for Optimist Youth Homes and Family Services and National Childhood Cancer Foundation. He also held management positions with The Boeing Company and worked in the public sector for The Department of State and The White House.

With the appointment of Mr. Weiner, Helinet’s board now consists of five members, including federal security and aviation expert Thomas Norton, broadcast veteran Arnold Kleiner, healthcare operations leader Jim Adams, and former commander of the Atlantic Area for the U.S Coast Guard William “Dean” Lee.

Helinet has seen a wave of growth recently and added two additional AgustaWestland 109 luxury helicopters to its fleet of executive aircraft. A state-of-the-art Airbus AS350 B2 uniquely configured for its electronic news gathering and production operations has also been added. Additionally, the company continues to expand its portfolio of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for commercial production and airborne law enforcement applications.
