Helinet Aviation Adds Robert E. Weiner to Advisory Board

Los Angeles (November 2, 2018) – Helinet Aviation Services, a diversified flight services company, announced today the appointment of Robert E. Weiner to its board of advisors. Mr. Weiner is currently the Vice President of Development at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles., California’s highest rated academic pediatric medical center, ranked number six in the nation. Before joining CHLA, he served in executive roles for Optimist Youth Homes and Family Services and National Childhood Cancer Foundation. He also held management positions with The Boeing Company and worked in the public sector for The Department of State and The White House. “We are very pleased to have Robert join our distinguished board of directors and look forward to his contributions,” said Helinet CEO Kathryn Purwin. “His experience in business development, government and public policy, and philanthropy will be extremely beneficial to Helinet as we continue to expand at an accelerated pace.” With the appointment of Mr. Weiner, Helinet’s board now consists of five members, including federal security and aviation expert Thomas Norton, broadcast veteran Arnold Kleiner, healthcare operations leader Jim Adams, and former commander of the Atlantic Area for the U.S Coast Guard William “Dean” Lee.
