Helinet Aviation Participates in Smile High Club Kickoff Event Honoring Trevor Habberstad
July 31, 2017
Helinet was proud to take part in the Smile High Club Kickoff this past Sunday at Brookview Ranch in Agoura Hills, California. The event was held in honor of the late Trevor Habberstad, a young Hollywood stuntman and stunt coordinator who lost his battle to cancer in February 2017. Attendees were able to sit behind the controls of Helinet's newly acquired Airbus H130 and ask Helinet team members questions about the aircraft.
Guests of the event also witnessed a thrilling entrance in which skydivers arrived by parachute after jumping out of the H130 aircraft. Additionally, children attending The Smile High Club Kickoff had the opportunity to fly up to 100 feet on a belly board with the assistance of a computerized flying system.
The Smile High Club, started by veteran stuntman Jim Churchman, has a simple mission: to help kids who are going through medical treatment or have a disability, to be able to have the experience of flying like some of their favorite superheroes.
